GLENDALE — The Arizona Cardinals will have starting running back James Conner for their season finale against the Seattle Seahawks on Sunday.
The running back, who was out on the field stretching pre-game, is officially active. Conner was a limited participant throughout the week of practice with a heel issue.
Entering play Sunday, Conner is second in the league in terms of rushing touchdowns with 13 behind only Indianapolis Colts running back Jonathan Taylor (18). Conner hasn’t played since Week 15.
With fellow running back Chase Edmonds out with ribs and toe injuries, the Cardinals will likely lean on Conner with Jonathan Ward and Eno Benjamin also in line for added carries.
