As the Arizona Cardinals wrap up the regular season against the Seattle Seahawks, running backs James Conner and Jonathan Ward left the game for the locker room.
Conner appeared to head to the locker room after taking a hit to the ribs. The Cardinals running back was in the middle of another dominant game, finding the end zone twice.
As Conner was heading to the sidelines, another Arizona running back left the game in Ward. With the Cardinals without Chase Edmonds against the Seahawks, Ward was filling in as Conner’s backup.
Now, Arizona relies on second-year back Eno Benjamin as they look to finish the regular season with a win over Seattle.
The Cardinals currently trail 38-27 with under five minutes to play in the fourth quarter.
