The Arizona Coyotes placed veteran forward Antoine Roussel in the NHL’s COVID-19 protocol among a series of roster moves the team announced on Tuesday.
Arizona also assigned defenseman Cam Dineen to the team’s taxi squad and recalled forward Hudson Fasching to the taxi squad from AHL Tucson. Dineen had been in the COVID-19 protocol.
The organization assigned defensemen Vladislav Kolyachonok and Victor Soderstrom and goaltender Ivan Prosvetov to Tucson from the taxi squad, as well.
The Coyotes have placed several key players into the protocol over the last 10 days, including defensemen Jakob Chychrun and goaltender Scott Wedgewood.
Head coach Andre Tourigny was put in the protocol on Jan. 10.
Those three, along with defensemen Anton Stralman and Kyle Capobianco, reportedly cleared protocols on Tuesday, although the team has not officially announced that.
Chychrun, though, was included in a Coyotes social media video of players boarding the team plane on Tuesday.
