PHOENIX SUNS

Suns’ Deandre Ayton, Jae Crowder, Cam Payne out vs. Jazz

The Phoenix Suns will be missing multiple contributors in Monday’s home matchup against the Utah Jazz.

Center Deandre Ayton was listed as out with a right ankle sprain while starting forward Jae Crowder and backup point guard Cam Payne will not play due to wrist injuries, the team announced.

Crowder is listed with a contusion on his left wrist and Payne with a sprained right wrist.

Ayton missed the last three games. He has played in only 28 of Phoenix’s 45 contests this season due to multiple injuries and a stint in the NBA’s health and safety protocols.

Crowder and Payne each left the game in Saturday’s win over the Indiana Pacers.

Payne got hurt in the first quarter and played only seven minutes. Crowder went to the locker room after a layup attempt in the third quarter.

Center Frank Kaminsky, wing Abdel Nader and big Dario Saric all remain out.

All-Star guard Donovan Mitchell will not play in the matchup due to a concussion and center Rudy Gobert will be sidelined due to a calf strain against the Golden State Warriors on Sunday.

Jazz starting wing Bojan Bogdanovic will play, according to the injury report.
