Monty Williams joins Chris Paul in new State Farm commercial

Chris Paul has dropped a dime to Phoenix Suns head coach Monty Williams — by joining him in a State Farm commercial.
Paul on Friday posted a new State Farm ad featuring himself, Jake from State Farm and his head coach.
“A lot of people assume coaches are looking at plays on that clipboard,” Paul says.
“Just like they assume they can’t afford great insurance,” Jake from State Farm responds.
“Those aren’t plays they’re reading,” Paul adds.

A shorter version of the State Farm ad includes Williams observing another coach working frantically on his own.

It’s also not an after-timeout play that the coach is drawing up. It’s a picture of Williams’ head on a baby’s body.
“I like it,” Williams says dryly.
