Seven Arizona Diamondbacks prospects were named to top 100 list by The Athletic’s Keith Law, pacing the league as the team with the most players on the list.

Those seven led a group of Law’s top 20 prospects in the organization, which included a mix of 10 position players and 10 pitchers.

Arizona’s four top prospects were all position players with outfielder Corbin Carroll (No. 16 overall), shortstop Jordan Lawlar (No. 31 overall) and outfielder Alek Thomas (No. 34 overall) all ranking in the top 35.

Shortstop Geraldo Perdomo finished just outside the top 50 coming in at No. 63.

Pitchers Ryne Nelson (No. 74), Drey Jameson (No. 84) and Brandon Pfaadt (No. 87) rounded out the D-backs’ ranked prospects.

Law expects a few of the top seven to make their MLB debuts this season.

Thomas should debut this year, and (Seth) Beer would probably be the DH if the National League adopts it. I wouldn’t be shocked to see any of the big three starters debut in the majors this summer, with Nelson probably the most likely.

Beer is one of the veterans on the list, coming in at No. 14 in the organization and projecting as a DH.

Other notable pitchers include Blake Walston (No. 9), Bryce Jarvis (No. 11), Slade Cecconi (No. 15) and Corbin Martin (No. 16).

Shortstop Ryan Bliss was ranked No. 10 and gives the D-backs three shortstops ranked in the organization’s top 10 prospects.

Outfielder Kristian Robinson comes in at No. 12 after being arrested for assaulting a police officer in 2020. After being being sentenced to probation, Robinson was able to renew his visa and should return to action in the D-backs system.

Lower on the list is the youngest prospect at No. 19, 18-year-old Deyvison De Los Santos. De Los Santos turns 19 in June and projects as a corner infielder.

To qualify for Law’s list, prospects could not have more than 130 at-bats,  50 innings pitched or 45 days on an active roster.
