Seahawks trading Russell Wilson to Broncos has Cardinals fans rejoicing

There’s no denying the thorn in the Arizona Cardinals’ side that was quarterback Russell Wilson.
In 20 games played against Arizona over the course of his 10-year career in Seattle, Wilson put up 4,428 yards (most against any other NFL team) and 32 touchdowns to nine interceptions on 62.3% passing. He added another 569 yards and two scores on 101 rushing attempts. Wilson manufactured an 11-8-1 mark over that span and posted a 96.7 QB rating.
Coincidentally, Wilson began his Seahawks career against the Cardinals in 2012 and ended up playing his final game in a Seattle jersey in Arizona this past season.
Only against the San Francisco 49ers (20 games) did Wilson score more touchdowns (36) through the air than he did against the Cardinals.
So naturally, Cardinals fans went all ding-dong-the-witch-is-dead on social media once the news dropped of Wilson’s trade to the Denver Broncos in exchange for a massive haul of players and draft capital that includes two first-round picks.
