Arizona State Sun Devils forward Jalen Graham has entered the transfer portal, according to multiple reports.
Verbal Commits was the first to report the move.
Graham is coming off of a 2021-22 season in which he was named to the All-Pac-12 Second Team.
The Valley native out of Mountain Pointe High School in Phoenix had a rough start to his junior campaign under head coach Bobby Hurley.
In his first 11 games on the season (seven starts), Graham only mustered an average of 4.8 points on 41.8% shooting from the field to go along with 3.0 rebounds, 0.5 assists, 0.5 steals and 0.9 blocks in 18.3 minutes per contest.
ASU’s record was 4-7 in that span, the first 10 of which were all non-conference matchups.
However, Graham had a resurgence in the second half of the season for Hurley and Co.
His averages in all but one of the aforementioned statistics saw elevations to 13.5 points, 52.1% shooting from the floor, 5.5 rebounds 2.5 assists and 1.0 steals in 26.9 minutes per game.
Graham still averaged 0.9 blocks per contest in that span, but Arizona State went 9-8 across 17 ballgames in which he started in 14.
The Sun Devils closed out the regular season winning seven of their last eight before bowing out to Stanford on a buzzer-beater in the opening round of the Pac-12 Tournament.
It marks the second consecutive year in which ASU has lost its highest accoladed player following Remy Martin’s transfer to Kansas after finishing the 2020-21 season on the All-Pac-12 First Team.
