Wildcats’ Kerr Kriisa returns from ankle injury, provides spark vs. TCU

The Arizona Wildcats appeared to be back at full strength during their NCAA Tournament Second Round victory against TCU, with point guard Kerr Kriisa returning from an ankle injury.
Coming off the bench, Kriisa appeared in his first game for Arizona since the quarterfinals of the Pac-12 Conference Tournament against Stanford, when he sprained his ankle.
Kriisa scored just three points on 10 shots in his return, but his impact was felt elsewhere.
Upon entering the game against the Horned Frogs, Kriisa promptly took a charge and fired up the Wildcats crowd who made the trip to San Diego.

He was listed as a game-time decision for the Wildcats round one victory over Wright State, but didn’t see his name in the box score as head coach Tommy Lloyd chose to hold Kriisa out for another game.
The guard averaged 10.1 points per game and 4.9 assists for Arizona during the regular season and is a weapon beyond the arc shooting 35% from three on the year.
With Kriisa back in the fold, the Wildcats are seemingly back at full strength at they prepare to make a run to the Final Four.
For Thursday’s Sweet 16 matchup against Houston, the question with Kriisa will be whether he’s inserted back into the starting lineup or continues to come in off the bench.
