The Arizona Cardinals attacked three holes in The 33rd Team’s mock draft released last week, including on the defensive line.

The 33rd Team had Arizona selecting Georgia nose tackle Jordan Davis with the No. 23 pick of the first round before taking Cincinnati Bearcats cornerback Coby Bryant and wide receiver Alec Pierce in the second and third rounds, respectively.

Davis was the player of the NFL Scouting Combine in March for running a 4.78-second 40-yard dash, the fastest for a prospect weighing 310 pounds or more since 2003, per Next Gen Stats.

The 6-foot-6, 340-poound tackle had a pair of sacks and 5.5 tackles for loss last season with the Bulldogs.

The Cardinals can plug in Davis right in the middle of the defensive line. His presence will command double teams and free other Cardinals defenders to make plays. J.J. Watt and Davis could be a lethal duo in the NFC West.

The 33rd Team wrote that the Cardinals could move up to grab a cornerback before their second-round selection or take someone in the first round. The mock, though, has Bryant landing in the Valley at pick No. 55.

Bryant is 6-foot-1, 198 pounds and is named after NBA legend Kobe Bryant.

He won the Jim Thorpe Award, given to the nation’s top defensive back each season, after intercepting three passes and forcing three fumbles for the Bearcats in 2021.

Bryant could slide in on the outside opposite of Marco Wilson on Arizona’s defense with Byron Murphy Jr. in the slot.

Pierce made the All-AAC Second Team last year after catching 52 passes and eight touchdowns in 14 games last year. He is a tall receiver at 6-foot-3 who can line up on the outside.

With the loss of Christian Kirk in free agency, the Cardinals must look for a complement to Hopkins. Adding a big target such as Pierce alongside Rondale Moore in the slot will give Murray the weapons he needs to succeed this upcoming year.
