Phoenix Suns guard Landry Shamet will play Sunday in Game 1 of the first-round series against the New Orleans Pelicans, head coach Monty Williams said in pregame availability.
Shamet injured his left foot and did not practice on Friday.
He’s averaged 8.3 points and 1.6 assists per game, and shoots 39% from the field and 37% from three-point range.
Shamet went through pregame warmups before Williams announced his availability. The backup shooting guard was listed as questionable heading into the game.

Shamet missed nine games earlier this year due to a right ankle injury from Feb. 1-16. He started 14 of his 69 regular-season appearances during his first season in the Valley.
The Suns host the Pelicans in Game 1 of the Western Conference quarterfinals on Sunday at 6 p.m. on 98.7 FM Arizona’s Sports Station.
