Arizona Coyotes to play first NHL game in Wichita during preseason

The Arizona Coyotes will play in the first NHL game in Wichita, Kansas, set for the 2022-23 preseason.
The Coyotes will take on the St. Louis Blues at INTRUST Bank Arena on Sept. 24.
Ticket information for the game and the complete slate of preseason matchups will be announced at a later date.
“We are excited to play the Blues at INTRUST Bank Arena,” Coyotes general manager Bill Armstrong said in a press release. “We look forward to bringing NHL hockey to the great fans in Wichita on Sept. 24.”
INTRUST Bank Arena seats more than 15,000 fans and is the home of the Wichita Thunder, the ECHL affiliate of the Edmonton Oilers.
The Coyotes have seven more games on the slate this season. They take on the Carolina Hurricanes in Glendale on Monday at 7 p.m.
