The latest chapter in the ongoing contract saga between the Arizona Cardinals and quarterback Kyler Murray was written on Thursday.
Just two hours after general manager Steve Keim stated that there was “zero chance” that the team was going to trade its franchise QB, Murray took to social media to respond to various tweets regarding his status in the Valley.
Murray first took aim at the All Things Covered Podcast, which is co-hosted by former Cardinals cornerback Patrick Peterson.
I wanna win Super Bowls with the Cardinals, AZ is home. https://t.co/xwEw42uDBl

This particular episode featured another former Cardinals teammate of Murray’s in running back Chase Edmonds, who said he wasn’t surprised by the discourse between the two sides.
“I wanna win Super Bowls with the Cardinals, AZ is home,” Murray tweeted.
A few minutes later, Murray responded to national pundit Colin Cowherd’s comments on his radio show about the Cardinals quarterback being “aloof,” having “trust issues” and “leaning on his talent.”
Run whatever narratives y’all wanna run with… but questioning my work ethic, we not going for. Stop playin’ w/ me Colin. I still rock w/ you but cmon.

“Run whatever narratives y’all wanna run with, but questioning my work ethic, we not going for (that),” Murray tweeted. “Stop playing with me Colin. I still rock with you but c’mon.”
The last of the three-tweet Twitter storm was in response to NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport quoting Keim’s “zero chance” comment.
And just like the Cardinals general manager, Murray said more by saying less with a simple “100” emoji.
