The Phoenix Suns announced Devin Booker will not play in Game 4 against the New Orleans Pelicans on Sunday due to mild right hamstring tightness.

Booker was seen at practice on Saturday in New Orleans slowly walking around the gym and getting up shots.

Booker exited Game 2 of the series late in the third quarter after attempting to chase down a play defensively.

ESPN’s Brian Windhorst reported Thursday that Booker could miss 2-3 weeks with a Grade 1 hamstring strain.

ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski reported that it appeared unlikely Booker would play in Games 3 and 4.

Booker scored 25 in Game 1 of the series and added 31 in the first half of Game 2 before exiting due to the injury.

Forward Cam Johnson started in place of Booker in Game 3 and scored eight points and grabbed one rebound.

Guard Landry Shamet also saw an increase in minutes and scored five points, three rebounds and three assists.

The Phoenix Suns lead the series 2-1 and will play Game 4 at 6:30 p.m. on Sunday. Catch all the action on 98.7 FM Arizona’s Sports Station.
