The Kansas City Royals and Nike paired together to unveil the newest edition of the league’s City Connect uniforms.
The “City of Fountains” jerseys take a deep dive into Kansas City’s culture.
The KC logo on the hats and jerseys is in dark blue and depicts the letters dripping in water as if they were a fountain.
The letters and numbers are supposed to reflect the city’s art deco style, according to the team’s post.
The words, “HEY, HEY, HEY, HEY” are printed across the collar in honor of the team’s victory song from the Beatles.
The letter R is written on the sleeve, a tip of the cap to the team’s original logo.
Lastly, there is a small fountain to honor the culture of Kansas City.
