The Arizona Diamondbacks reinstated right-handed pitcher Humberto Castellanos from the paternity list on Wednesday.

Additionally, Arizona optioned reliever Edwin Uceta to the Triple-A Reno Aces following Tuesday’s win over the Los Angeles Dodgers.

Out of the bullpen (3.0 innings pitched), Castellanos sports a 6.00 ERA behind two earned runs, five hits, a walk and two strikeouts.

Uceta heads to Reno after appearing in two games with the D-backs.

In 1.2 innings pitched, the reliever registered a 10.80 ERA, allowing two earned runs on a hit and two walks.

The D-backs and Dodgers are back in action Wednesday afternoon. First pitch is scheduled for 12:40 p.m. Tune to ESPN 620 AM or 98.7 FM HD-2.
