The Arizona Cardinals on Thursday traded their No. 23 pick for Baltimore Ravens wide receiver Marquise Brown and the 100th pick in the NFL Draft.

Brown is coming off a 1,000-yard, six-touchdown effort in 2021.

The trade reunites Brown with quarterback Kyler Murray, who spent two years together at Oklahoma.

During that time, Brown recorded 132 catches for 2,413 yards and 17 touchdowns.

“Wish I coulda played with my brotha forever but ima see you at the top,” Brown said to Ravens QB Lamar Jackson on Twitter after news broke.

Per Spotrac, Brown brings with him a one-year, $2.1M contract ($1.9M guaranteed) in 2022 and a $13.4M option for 2023.

General manager Steve Keim has been active making moves since becoming GM in 2013. In eight of his 10 drafts, the Cardinals general manager has made a move.

Five of the GM’s 12 total deals moved the Cardinals up in the order, while six moved them down. Another move saw quarterback Josh Rosen get dealt in exchange for draft capital in 2020 the day after the team selected Kyler Murray first overall.

The two times Keim didn’t make a deal came in 2016 and 2020.

Barring any other trades, the Cardinals will make their next pick at 55th overall on Friday.
