The Arizona Cardinals surprised fans once again, but this time with a draft-day trade for Baltimore Ravens wide receiver Marquise “Hollywood” Brown.

Arizona traded the No. 23 overall pick and received No. 100 as well as the speedy wideout.

Brown posted 91 catches for 1,008 yards and six touchdowns last season. His cap hit for the 2022 season will be $2.1 million.

It is safe to say fans, current players and analysts were thrilled, confused and excited for the trade. The top of that list begins with Cardinals quarterback and former Oklahoma Sooner teammate Kyler Murray.

In his final season of college in Norman with Murray, Brown totaled 75 catches, 1,318 yards and 10 touchdowns.

Many around the Valley are eager to see Brown lineup opposite of DeAndre Hopkins, but not everyone is sold on the trade.

Although Brown is excited to join his new team, he showed some love to his old QB Lamar Jackson.
