Arizona State star defensive tackle has reportedly entered the transfer portal on Friday but could to return to the program, Sun Devil Source reported.
Additionally, defensive lineman Omarr Norman-Lott and center Ezra Dotson-Oyetade entered the transfer portal on Friday as well, per reports.
In three years with the Sun Devils, Lole amassed 122 tackles and 20 sacks over 27 games. He appeared in all four games in the 2020 COVID-19-impacted season and missed the 2021 season due to torn triceps.
Norman-Lott played in only one game his freshman year but totaled 30 tackles, 3.5 tackles for loss and 2 sacks in his sophomore campaign.
Norman-Lott played a major role in 2021 and was slotted behind Lole on the depth chart for 2022.
The Sun Devils had signed 16 four-star athletes from 2019-22 and only five remain due to the transfer portal, according to 247Sports.
Amid an NCAA investigation, Arizona State boosters are reportedly unveiling a seven-figure name, image and likeness (NIL) collective for the school’s marquee sports, according to Sun Devil Source.
In the past 10 days, wide receivers Ricky Pearsall, LV Bunkley-Shelton, Freshman All-American linebacker Eric Gentry and now Lole have all cited NIL reasons for their departure into the transfer portal.
