Wide receiver Andy Isabella’s tenure with the Arizona Cardinals has come to an end.

The wideout drafted 62nd overall in 2019 was released Tuesday to make way for the team to sign center Billy Price off the Las Vegas Raiders practice squad.

Arizona also officially signed kicker Matt Ammendola to the practice squad and released fourth-string quarterback Jarrett Guarantano.

Price joins the team with 58 games and 34 starts of experience with the New York Giants and Cincinnati Bengals. He was a first-round pick (21st overall) in 2018.

The inside offensive lineman joins a team that has holes at guard with Justin Pugh and Cody Ford notably injured.

The release of Isabella comes as the team designated receiver Antoine Wesley (hip/groin) to return from the injured reserve on Monday.

Likewise, the cut of Guarantano, an undrafted rookie, follows backup quarterback Colt McCoy (calf) being designated to return, which could push third-string quarterback Trace McSorley to the practice squad.

Isabella was selected in 2019 after the team led off the draft by taking quarterback Kyler Murray. Isabella was taken with a second-round pick Arizona acquired in trading quarterback Josh Rosen.

Isabella struggled to develop, recording just 33 catches for 447 yards and three touchdowns in his three-plus seasons with the Cardinals.

Active for only eight games last year, Isabella saw just 5% of the available offensive snaps (30). He finished the season with one catch for 13 yards.

Playing time didn’t increase much this season despite DeAndre Hopkins’ six-game suspension to begin the year and injuries to Wesley and Rondale Moore early on.

Isabella was already granted permission by the team to seek a trade this offseason.

Ahead of Day 3 of this year’s draft, NFL Network’s Mike Garafolo reported the Cardinals looked to trade Isabella and offered him to several teams.
