Watch: Suns’ JaVale McGee steal, coast-to-coast slam in Game 1 vs. Mavs

Did Phoenix Suns center JaVale McGee really just do that?

Yes, yes he did.

In a 121-114 Game 1 win in the Western Conference semifinals over the Dallas Mavericks on Monday night, the seven-footer had a steal that led to a coast-to-coast slam dunk at the other end.

But it was also who McGee stole the ball from that made the play so prominent.

The Suns center picked the pocket of none other than Mavericks guard Luka Doncic before heading the other way and showing his own playmaking ability.

The turnover marked the fifth of the game for Doncic.

Doncic led all scorers with 45 points at the end of the night.

The one-handed jam brought McGee’s point total to four, his final tally for the ballgame.

He also had three rebounds and two assists to go along with his one steal.

The Suns host the Mavericks in Game 2 on Wednesday at 7 p.m. on 98.7 FM Arizona’s Sports Station.
