Point guard Frankie Collins will transfer to Arizona State after playing one season at Michigan, he announced on Twitter Wednesday.
Collins was a four-star, top-50 recruit out of Coronado High School in Nevada in 2021. He previously played one season at Compass Prep in Chandler as a high school junior.

The 6-foot-1 guard played in 31 games and had one start as a true freshman last year for the Wolverines. His lone start came in the Round of 64 during the NCAA Tournament against Colorado State, when he scored a season-high 14 points in 31 minutes.
The Wolverines reached the Sweet 16 in the tournament, although Collins did not start another game.

He averaged only 11 minutes per game last season, which was eighth on a veteran-heavy team.
Collins scored 2.8 points per game and shot 42.7% from the floor.
He is the fourth player to transfer to ASU this offseason, joining forward Warren Washington (Nevada) and brothers Devan (Auburn) and Desmond Cambridge (Nevada).
The Sun Devils have also lost multiple key players to the portal.
Wing Jay Heath is off to Georgetown and big Jalen Graham transferred to Arkansas.
