Mavericks guard Luka Doncic had to be held back by members of the Dallas staff after getting into a verbal altercation with a Phoenix Suns fan on Wednesday night.

In Game 2 of the Western Conference semifinals, Doncic was making his way to the locker room during the fourth quarter when he turned around to point at a Suns fan.

It’s unclear what exactly was said, but the camera showed some type of communication between the two.

The TNT broadcast also reported that he had been jawing with courtside fans all night.

Suns fans may have been trying to slow down Doncic, as the All-Star guard has been unstoppable in the first two games of the second-round series.

Doncic put up a game-high 45 points in Game 1 and had 35 points on Wednesday night.

He also had seven assists and five rebounds to add to his 59% shooting stroke from the field (13-of-22) which featured going 5-for-10 from three-point range.

Doncic also had seven turnovers.

The Suns beat the Mavericks 129-109 to take a 2-0 series lead on Wednesday.

Game 3 from Dallas is set for Friday at 6:30 p.m. Catch all the action on 98.7 FM Arizona’s Sports Station.
