The Phoenix Suns are one win away from a second consecutive trip to the Western Conference Finals.

Phoenix now leads the Dallas Mavericks 3-2 in the series following a 110-80 win in Game 5 at Footprint Center on Tuesday night.

After leading 49-46 at halftime, the Suns exploded in the third quarter to outscore the Mavs 33-14 en route to an 82-60 Phoenix lead heading into the fourth quarter.

The biggest factor of the third quarter was the Suns’ 17-0 run that began with Phoenix leading 51-50 and ended at 68-50.

Dallas committed a whopping 12 turnovers in the third quarter alone.

Four of those belonged to Mavs guard Jalen Brunson and two were committed by Luka Doncic.

Suns All-Star guard Devin Booker had 12 points — three of which came from beyond the arc — to go along with two steals.

Booker finished the night tied with a game-high 28 points on 11-of-20 shooting (55%) and 3-for-7 (42.9%) from three-point range.

He also added two assists, seven rebounds and two steals in 35 minutes played.

The Suns will look to win the series in Game 6 in Dallas on Thursday at 6:30 p.m.
