D-backs recall LHP Tyler Holton from Triple-A Reno, option RHP Luis Frias

The Arizona Diamondbacks have recalled LHP Tyler Holton from Triple-A Reno and optioned RHP Luis Frias in a corresponding move on Friday.
Holton went 2-0 over eight games with the Aces, posting a 5.65 ERA this season in 14.1 innings pitched.
In his time with the team, he struck out 14 batters, walked nine and gave up nine earned runs.
He made one appearance in the big leagues with Arizona this season. He faced five batters, gave up two hits, one walk and struck out one while not giving up an earned run.
Frias has played in four games with the D-backs over six innings pitched.
He gave up up 10 hits, struck out three, walked seven and gave up nine earned runs.
The righty has posted a 13.50 ERA this season but had a 2.70 ERA in his brief 3.1 inning stint with Arizona in 2021.
