D-backs continue to shift roster in preparation for season

The Arizona Diamondbacks are closer than ever to solidifying their 25-man roster in preparation for Opening Day Monday, and made several moves Saturday:
#Dbacks option Vidal Nuño & Robbie Ray to Triple-A Reno and Enrique Burgos to Double-A Mobile and reassign Blake Lalli to Minor League camp.

Andrew Chafin, a 24-year-old pitcher, had a 4.73 ERA through nine games and 13.1 innings pitched in Arizona’s 2015 spring training season.
Arizona also optioned infielder Yasmany Tomas to Triple-A Reno.

P Bronson Arroyo is placed on 60-day DL.

Finally, Arizona released veteran outfielder Cody Ross.

Dbacks still owe Ross $8.5m this year and $1m buyout on 2016 option.

Ross was with the Dimaondbacks since 2013. In total, he has been in the big leagues since 2003 with seven different teams.
