The Arizona Cardinals are hosting a football skills camp on Saturday for kids and young adults from Mikey’s League, which provides children with disabilities opportunities to play sports.

Forty participants will learn football techniques and the importance of hydration and stretching from several players at the team’s training facility in Tempe, the Cardinals announced on Thursday.

Edge rusher Dennis Gardeck, tight end Trey McBride, linebacker Myjai Sanders, running back Keaontay Ingram, linebacker Jesse Luketa and offensive lineman Marquis Hayes will lead the activities.

The kids and young adults will go through four stations with drills led by the players, compete for prizes and take a team photo to cap the day.

Mikey’s League works to support inclusivity in sports by providing a platform for children and young adults with physical or intellectual disabilities.

Its mission is to “challenge the limits placed on children with disabilities and allow them to inspire and teach us. We believe in the power of sport, and its moments of triumph, to unify, heal, and provide the confidence needed to be successful in life, regardless of challenges.”

The event starts at 10 a.m.
