Golden State Warriors guard Klay Thompson gave social media plenty of laughs on Monday before and during his team’s championship parade in the Bay Area.

Thompson had to make a slight wardrobe change when he lost his championship hat in the wind while boating before the parade. He caught the moment on Instagram Live and exclaimed, ” Oh no, I lost my hat!”

He showed up to the festivities in a captain’s hat, which was more suitable for Thompson, an avid boater.

During the parade, Thompson had a couple more viral moments, including when he tripped and knocked over a fan.

He caught himself by picking up some speed but did not see the fan in his path. Thompson helped the person up before greeting a crowd.

The four-time NBA champion also dropped one of his championship rings while high-fiving fans.

Thompson found it in a pile of gold and blue confetti, kissed it and laughed it off before continuing onward.

Fortunately, he dropped his ring on he street unlike his hat.

Between the speeches, toasting fans with a coffee cup and performing Michael Jackson dance moves next to the Larry O’Brien Trophy on the street, Thompson seemed to make the most out of his fourth parade.
