The Arizona Coyotes released their six-game preseason schedule for the 2022-23 season Thursday morning.
The Coyotes will not play in the Valley before taking the ice at Arizona State University’s Multi-Purpose Arena in the regular season.
They head east to Wichita, Kansas, to open their preseason slate against the St. Louis Blues on Sept. 24. The game will be held at INTRUST Bank Arena at 5 p.m.
Arizona then heads back to its home state to face the Anaheim Ducks at the Tucson Convention Center Arena, where the AHL’s Tucson Roadrunners play home games.
That matchup will begin at 2 p.m. on Sept. 25.
Next on the slate is a date with the Dallas Stars at Bank of Oklahoma Center in Tulsa on Sept. 27 at 5 p.m.
Arizona’s final three games of the preseason will be held in a trio of NHL arenas starting with the Ducks in Anaheim on Sept.28.
The Coyotes then get a break before facing the Vegas Golden Knights on Oct. 4 and the Vancouver Canucks on Oct. 7. The three final games will each begin at 7 p.m.
The NHL’s regular season will begin Oct. 11 with full schedules to be released in July.
The Coyotes are coming off a rebuilding season in which they amassed 57 points to finish in the cellar of the Central Division.
They own the No. 3 overall pick in the NHL Draft set for July 7-8. Arizona has three first-round picks.
