Watch: Parody song ‘Why trade DA’ captures Suns-Deandre Ayton saga

The Deandre Ayton and Phoenix Suns whirlwind of news is over, for the time being.

The Suns wasted no time in reportedly matching the max offer sheet from the Indiana Pacers for the former Arizona Wildcat.

With the center inking his deal over the next four years for $133 million, he can not be traded until Jan. 15 at the earliest, ruling him out in any immediate trades for Brooklyn Nets forward Kevin Durant.

Now that Ayton is staying in the Valley for the foreseeable future, Arizona Sports’ Jarrett Carlen debuted the newest hit parody single, “Why Trade DA.”

Arizona Sports’ multimedia producer Jeremy Schnell was behind the camera and edited the music video.
