Arizona Wildcats defensive lineman Kyon Barrs was named to the 2022 Lott IMPACT Trophy watch list, honoring a player who has had the biggest impact on his team both on and off the field.

Barrs made All-Pac-12 Second Team in 2021, posting a career-high five sacks and 33 tackles for loss.

Over his career with the Wildcats, Barrs has made 63 total tackles and five sacks over 26 games.

The winner of the Lott IMPACT Trophy is chosen by a national voter panel, consisting of former winners, members of the media, coaches and members of the Board of Directors of The IMPACT Foundation, a press release said.

Michigan defensive end Aidan Hutchinson was the recipient of the award in 2021.

The winner will be chosen at an event on Dec. 11, where Former Los Angeles Ram and Walter Payton Man of the Year Andrew Whitworth will deliver a keynote speech.
