QuikTrip proposes a Kevin Durant trade that Mikal Bridges does not like

Kevin Durant’s trade request from the Brooklyn Nets has gone into deep freeze mode for the time being. Until NBA training camps ramp up and there’s more pressure from the star to get to a new team, trade packages will be bandied about the interwebs.
One gas station — excuse me, a full express convenience store, gas station and more — believes it has all the answers.
QuikTrip, famous for its gas and pizza and extensive roller grill selection, submits this trade scenario: The Suns get Durant in exchange for Mikal Bridges, protections removed from a Philadelphia 76ers 2027 draft pick (via the James Harden trade) and a QuikTrip from Phoenix headed the other way to replace any bodega in Brooklyn.
Why this trade works:
-Suns get KD
-Brooklyn also gets the protection removed from Philly’s 2027 1st rounder from the Harden trade AND a QT from Phoenix to replace any Bodega

Throwing out such controversial trades on Twitter isn’t missed by the NBA players involved.
Bridges took offense. Suns fans, of course, would be heartbroken to lose Bridges as well.
Mikal Phoenix really likes you… just ask our mentions 😅😅😅

What did we do?!

No, we had chili cheese dog taquitos once. That was our worst idea.

Upon some light Twitter digging, it appears this trade isn’t completely unbiased.
QuikTrip has a history with the Phoenix two-way star, a Philadelphia native who in the past has put his support behind the super convenience store brand Wawa.

As Phoenicians with plenty of QuikTrip experience, we’ll say that it’s possible to like both QuikTrip and Bridges. We humbly wish for this issue to be resolved.
But if such a deal goes through and Kevin Durant does become a Sun in this scenario, best of luck to Bridges and congratulations to all the bodega cats for leveling up.
