Arizona Diamondbacks third baseman Emmanuel Rivera is fitting right in with his new team.
The trade deadline acquisition continued the hot start to his D-backs career, belting two solo home runs in his first two at-bats of Saturday’s contest against the Colorado Rockies.

In the designated hitter spot, Rivera took Rockies starter Jose Urena way deep to left field in just the second at-bat of the game.
He followed it up with an opposite-field blast with two outs in the third.

In just his seventh game with Arizona, Rivera now has four home runs.
The third baseman had just six long balls in 63 games with the Kansas City Royals prior to being traded for right-handed pitcher Luke Weaver.
In his last seven games, Rivera has eight base-hits to sport a .400 batting average to go with five RBIs.
Rivera picked up where he left off on Saturday, after driving in three runs in his last start on Thursday which included another home run.
Josh Rojas added onto the D-backs’ lead in the fifth with a two-run home run of his own.
There would be no more offense until the top of the eighth, when Daulton Varsho sent a high fly ball down the right-field line.
It was misplayed in right by Rockies right fielder Charlie Blackmon, allowing Varsho to round all the bases for an inside-the-park home run.
D-backs starting pitcher Zac Gallen continued his roll on the mound, throwing seven shutout-innings while striking out six batters.
Arizona tacked on another run in the ninth, followed by a scoreless frame on the mound from Ian Kennedy to secure the 6-0 win.
The win marked the D-backs 52nd of the season, matching last year’s total.
