Arizona Cardinals fans attending games at State Farm Stadium going forward will have what the team calls a “dramatically enhanced and upgraded video experience” with a new video board that will be unveiled on Sunday for Week 2 of the preseason.

The screen that is 44% larger than the previous one over the north end zone will get its first action during the home preseason opener against the Baltimore Ravens.

It is a Daktronics full-color video board that measures 3,663 square feet and the resolution that checks in at over three million pixels is seven times the resolution of the past screen.

The addition of the new video board is a part of $150 million in renovations and improvements State Farm Stadium has had since 2014. That was when Arizona hosted Super Bowl XLIX, and for 2023, the new video board will help the experience for fans at Super Bowl LVII on Feb. 12 in Glendale.

Sunday’s preseason matchup with the Ravens is a 6:30 p.m. kickoff you can hear on 98.7 FM Arizona’s Sports Station.
