Apparently Matthew Hulsizer’s concession was not enough to satisfy the Goldwater Institute.

According to The Winnipeg Free Press, Goldwater Institute president Darcy Olsen acknowledged the offer but said it is not enough.

“Regrettably, however, the proposal fails to remedy the core legal violation at issue, leaving the expensive taxpayer gamble intact.”

In a letter Hulsizer offered to guarantee that the City of Glendale would recoup the money they contributed to the sale of the franchise to the Chicago businessman.

The Goldwater Institute says it will still file a suit if the city goes through with its arrangement with Hulsizer.
