The Arizona Cardinals’ inconsistencies did them no favors in the team’s 24-17 loss to preseason juggernaut Baltimore Ravens on Sunday night.

Among the most glaring issues was the team’s inability to wrap guys up.

Arizona Sports’ Cardinals reporter Tyler Drake and 98.7 FM’s afternoon contributor Erik Ruby take a look at that, the unceremonious debut of rookie tight end Trey McBride, quarterback Trace McSorley’s off night and running back Eno Benjamin’s second lackluster showing after an impressive offseason.

It wasn’t all bad, however.

Wide receiver Andy Isabella continued his strong preseason play with five catches for 54 yards and a couple of defensive pass interferences that moved the chains.

As did Victor Dimukeje, who didn’t jump off the stat sheet but turned in another strong performance.

Rookie cornerback Christian Matthew was all over the field and led the team with seven tackles on the evening.

Linebacker Zaven Collins also looked a whole lot faster, though still had his moments of inconsistency.

But it was quarterback Kyler Murray who stole the show with his play-calling skills to finish off the night.

Taking over the headset for nearly two full quarters, Murray helped manufacture two scoring drives with both McSorley and fellow QB Jarrett Guarantano.

Unfortunately for the pseudo-offensive coordinator, the comeback bid fell short in the final moments of Sunday’s loss.

How much stock should go into Murray’s play-calling abilities? And just how much will that different perspective help the QB moving forward?
