Coyotes recall player from AHL affiliate on emergency basis

The Coyotes Friday recalled forward Ryan Hollweg on an emergency basis from their AHL affiliate, according to a release from the team.
The release did not indicate what the emergency was.
In 63 games with the San Antonio Rampage this season Hollweg recorded nine goals, eight assists and 17 points.
Hollweg, 27, signed with the Coyotes in Sept. 2009.
In four NHL seasons he has played in 225 career games with the New York Rangers and Toronto Maple Leafs, tallying five goals, nine assists and 14 points.
