ASU men’s basketball sets 2022-23 nonconference schedule

Bobby Hurley’s eighth season as Arizona State men’s basketball coach tips off on Monday, Nov. 7, against Tarleton State, according to the Sun Devils’ completed nonconference schedule released on Tuesday.
ASU’s slate is highlighted by a visit to New York for two Legends Classic games, the first one against VCU on Nov. 16 and then another against either Pittsburgh or Michigan the next day.
The Sun Devils also notably play Creighton in Las Vegas on Dec. 12. They have two road games against NCAA Tournament squads from last season: Texas Southern on Nov. 13 and San Francisco on Dec. 21.
ASU begins full conference play with a matchup against the Arizona Wildcats from Dec. 29-Jan. 2.
