Preseason schedule: Phoenix Suns play Adelaide 36ers, Lakers in Vegas

The Phoenix Suns announced their four preseason matchups to prepare for 2022-23, which is highlighted by a hosting of Australia’s Adelaide 36ers and a Las Vegas visit to play the Los Angeles Lakers.

Phoenix opens the preseason at Footprint Center on Sunday, Oct. 2 against the 36ers.

The Suns will then play Los Angeles in T-Mobile Arena, the home of the NHL’s Vegas Golden Knights, on Wednesday, Oct. 5. They visit the Denver Nuggets (Oct. 10)and host the Sacramento Kings (Oct. 12) to end the preseason.

The NBA’s entire preseason schedule was released Thursday with a few teams set to visit Japan and the United Arab Emirates. Neutral site games in North America will take place in Seattle; Las Vegas; Ontario, Calif.; Greensboro, N.C.; Montreal and Alberta, Canada; and Birmingham, Ala.

Adelaide, from the National Basketball League in Australia and New Zealand, is invited to take part in the NBA preseason along with Maccabi Ra’anana from the Israeli National League.

Tickets for Suns preseason and regular season games go on sale Monday at 1 p.m. on Suns.com/SingleGame. Season ticket holders can buy tickets at 8 a.m.
