On the latest episode of State of the Sun Devils, an Arizona Sports podcast, Jesse Morrison, Jeremy Schnell and Arizona State reporter Jake Anderson are joined by Sun Devil Football radio pregame host Jeff Munn.

Munn discusses his expectations for ASU this year, especially on the offensive side of the ball with so many new players leading to a lot of unknowns, as well as what he wants to see from the Sun Devils in the season opener against the Northern Arizona Lumberjacks on Sept. 1 at Sun Devil Stadium in Tempe.

Morrison, Schnell and Anderson then break down Arizona State’s entire 2022 schedule game-by-game, with only one of them believing ASU will be eligible come bowl season.

The trio also discusses what their expectations are for ASU in all three facets of the game: offense, defense and special teams.

Lastly, the guys talk about the new multisport arena that was named Mullett Arena on Tuesday after the Mullett family, who ASU credits a large part in helping the hockey team reach Division I status in 2014.

The arena will also serve as the temporary home for the Arizona Coyotes for at least the next three seasons through the 2024-25 campaign, with an additional option for 2025-26.

ASU hosts NAU next Thursday at 7 p.m. on ESPN 620 AM / 98.7 FM HD-2.
