Doan has highest confidence in Bryzy

Phoenix Coyotes captain Shane Doan joined Sports 620 KTAR’s Doug and Wolf Monday morning to share his confidence in his team for the upcoming playoff rematch against the Detroit Red Wings.

There was only one man though that Doan singled out as the reason the Coyotes feel so secure heading into the matchup against the four seed in the west: the big, Russian goaltender Ilya Bryzgalov.

“(Bryzgalov) makes the difference on so many nights,” Doan told Doug and Wolf.

Bryzgalov, who Doan called “the best player in the series”, is in last year of his contract with the Coyotes and is currently in the midst of a career year as he plays for a new contract.
