Arizona Cardinals backup running back Eno Benjamin wasted no time making his presence felt in the team’s 26-23 loss in the preseason finale against the Tennessee Titans on Saturday night at Nissan Stadium.
After the Cardinals forced a punt on the Titans’ opening drive, Benjamin provided 25 yards through the air on Arizona’s first possession of the contest.
Twenty of those yards came on this pitch and catch from third-string quarterback Trace McSorley to the former Arizona State Sun Devil.

Benjamin also added three rushing yards on three carries over the course of the 12-play, 89-yard drive that chewed up 7:24 minutes of clock.
Fellow backup running back Darrel Williams punched it in from one yard out for the score on his second attempt of the ballgame.
McSorley was a perfect 7-for-7 for 71 yards on the Cardinals’ opening drive, spreading the ball around to multiple pass catchers.
Andy Isabella caught three passes for 32 yards, while Greg Dortch and Bernhard Seikovits each had one reception for 12 and two yards, respectively.
With Saturday night’s game being the final audition for those still trying to solidify their place on the roster, it seems all of Arizona’s starters for the Week 3 preseason contest came ready to play with a chip on their shoulder and something to prove.
