With it being just Week 1 of the college football season, teams are still ironing the kinks from a long offseason.
That may have been the case for the Arizona Wildcats special team unit, trying to get a punt off backed up deep into their end zone.
Leading 31-10, Wildcats punter Kyle Ostendorp appeared to have his kick blocked that resulted in a San Diego State touchdown.

However, it was much worse than that for the Wildcats, with Ostendorp’s punt actually hitting one of his teammates.
It made the score 31-17 with 7:46 left in the third quarter, but Arizona was able to hold on to win 38-20.
Wildcats quarterback Jayden de Laura had an impressive debut after transferring from Washington State, throwing four touchdowns.
Three of his scores through the air were to receiver Jacob Cowing, also playing his first game at Arizona.
The Wildcats will host their home opener next Saturday against Mississippi State and will hope to clean up the punt game.
