The Arizona Cardinals unveiled the name of late longtime owner William V. Bidwill in their Ring of Honor at halftime on Sunday’s season opener against the Kansas City Chiefs.

Bidwill owned the team from 1962 until his death at the age of 88 in 2019.

He shared ownership with his brother, Stormy, until 1972.

Bidwill is the 19th member of the Ring of Honor, joining his father and fellow late team owner, Charles. Their names are right next to each other.

The newest inductee moved the Cardinals from St. Louis to the Valley in 1988 and opened the stadium in Glendale in 2006.

His son, Michael currently owns the franchise.

Bidwill is the first enshrinement since Carson Palmer was inducted in September 2019.
