The news was first reported Wednesday by azcentral’s Nick Piecoro.
The 25-year-old is currently ranked No. 9 in Arizona’s organization and also the No. 5 pitcher by MLB Pipeline. He has some of the best pure stuff in the organization with a fastball that can consistently hit anywhere from 95-97 mph, according to Piecoro.

Jameson posted a 5-12 record with a 6.95 ERA, 1.588 WHIP and 109 strikeouts over 114 innings pitched in the hitter-friendly Pacific Coast League league in Triple A.
The righty posted a 2-1 record in Double-A Amarillo with a 2.41 ERA, 0.911 WHIP and 23 strikeouts over 18.2 innings pitched in 2022.
Jameson was selected in the first round of the 2019 MLB Draft out of Ball State as a compensation pick due to center fielder A.J. Pollock leaving.
The youth movement continues for Arizona as Jameson will join the likes of Alek Thomas, Corbin Carroll, Stone Garrett, Tommy Henry and Ryne Nelson to make their MLB debut this year.
Arizona takes on the Padres at 6:40 p.m. Thursday night.
