The Cardinals not only pulled off the 20-point comeback but also held Arizona’s all-time sacks leader and Las Vegas Raiders pass rusher Chandler Jones sack-less on Sunday.

Jones finished the contest with three tackles and two quarterback hits as the Cardinals did a good job neutralizing the pass-rushing duo of Maxx Crosby and Jones.

Crosby recorded one sack on the day, Las Vegas’ only one of the evening.

“They’re fast and physical and deserve credit for that,” Raiders head coach Josh McDaniels told reporters postgame.

Jones and wideout Davante Adams headlined two stars for Las Vegas that practically went missing at times on Sunday. Adams recorded two catches for 12 yards and a touchdown.

Jones recorded 71.5 sacks in 84 games over six years in Arizona but has five tackles, one tackle for loss and has failed to record a sack in his first two games with the Raiders.

Cardinals QB Kyler Murray said pregame he didn’t intend on hanging out with Jones much on Saturday as it would mean negative results for Arizona. He did exactly that.

Arizona moved to a much quicker passing attack on short to intermediate attempts that made the pass rush moot in the second half.

Jones signed a $52.5 million contract over three years with Las Vegas that included $34 million guaranteed this offseason.
