The Arizona Cardinals announced on Tuesday the team has signed linebacker Devon Kennard to the active roster from the practice squad and released wideout Andre Baccellia.
The team also signed OL Lachavious Simmons to the practice squad and released CB Corey Ballentine, WR Jeff Cotton Jr., OL Koda Martin and S Steven Parker from the practice squad.
Kennard had been elevated from the practice squad the first two weeks but lands on the active roster moving forward. Last season with Arizona, the outside linebacker recorded 24 tackles, two passes defensed and two QB hits over 15 contests (three starts).
He posted two tackles in his first two games of 2022.
Baccellia went undrafted out of Washington in the 2020 NFL Draft. He joined the Cardinals practice squad in April of last year before bouncing back and forth from the practice squad and active roster this year.
He caught two passes for 16 yards in the first two games before being released.
Simmons started two games with the Chicago Bears in 2021 before being released last Monday.
He was drafted in the seventh round of the 2020 NFL Draft out of Tennessee State, the only player from a historically black college and university to be drafted that year.
