Cardinals-Rams injury report: WR Rondale Moore out, RB James Conner questionable
The Arizona Cardinals will be without receiver Rondale Moore for the third week in a row to start the season due to a hamstring issue, head coach Kliff Kingsbury told reporters on Friday.
Moore, who has an extensive injury history dating back to his college days, made 54 receptions for 435 yards and a touchdown last season. He added 18 rushes for 76 yards.
Reserve linebacker Ezekiel Turner is also out for the Week 3 game with an ankle injury.
Additionally, running back James Conner (ankle) was a limited participant the past two practices. Kingsbury said Friday that Conner is a gametime decision.
Wide receiver Andy Isabella was a full go in practice for the third straight day Friday after missing Sunday’s win over the Las Vegas Raiders. Recently acquired cornerback Trayvon Mullen also had his second consecutive full participation day. He has missed both of the Cardinals’ games due to a toe injury.
For the Rams, the secondary is an issue.
Troy Hill, one of the Rams’ top three cornerbacks alongside Jalen Ramsey and David Long Jr., was placed on injured reserve Tuesday. Long, meanwhile, was downgraded on Thursday’s report from limited the day prior to DNP with a groin issue. He and fellow corner Cobie Durant (hamstring) will be out against the Cardinals.
So will center Brian Allen (knee) and receiver Van Jefferson (knee).
In addition, safety Jordan Fuller was a new name on Thursday’s report with a hamstring issue that had him limited. He sat out Friday and is listed as questionable. Fuller played 31% of the Rams’ defensive snaps in Week 1 and 59% the following week.
