Arizona Cardinals left guard Justin Pugh exited the game against the Carolina Panthers on Sunday due to an elbow injury and did not return. Inside linebacker Nick Vigil also did not return due to a hamstring issue.

The left guard returned to the sideline but was seen without his helmet. Backup Max Garcia stepped in his absence in the 26-20 win.

Pugh was injured in the Week 3 contest against the Los Angeles Rams with an elbow injury that forced an early locker room trip in the first half. He eventually returned to the game after halftime and played in 87% of the team’s offensive snaps.

The starter was listed on the injury report this week after he didn’t practice on Wednesday, was limited on Thursday and was a full participant in Friday’s practice.

Pugh missed the Week 1 game against the Kansas City Chiefs with a neck injury when the Cardinals allowed three sacks for 26 yards.

Vigil had two tackles and a pass defense on Sunday before the injury. He left the game early in the third quarter.
