State of the Sun Devils podcast: Jaelen Strong on direction of ASU football
Oct 6, 2022, 7:20 PM
On the latest episode of State of the Sun Devils, an Arizona Sports podcast, Jesse Morrison, Jeremy Schnell and Jake Anderson are joined by ASU legend and former NFL wide receiver Jaelen Strong.
The trio and Strong reminisce on the eighth anniversary of the Jael Mary, which took place on Oct. 4, 2014, in Arizona State’s 38-34 come-from-behind win at USC.
Strong also talks about the clinic he will be running for all positions on Friday nights at 7:30 p.m. for ages 12 and under, as well as Saturday mornings at 9 a.m. for ages 13-17.
The sessions will take place at Mitchell Dog Park in Tempe and will be free during the month of October.
The group breaks down what to expect from Arizona State when it hosts No. 21 Washington and the guys give their predictions.
Anderson discusses what he expects to see from the Huskies offense, who boasts the No. 7 total offense and No. 12 scoring offense in the country behind the arm of quarterback Michael Penix Jr.
Last but not least, Morrison finally pays off his lunch bet 49 days after losing the wager of who Arizona State’s starting quarterback would be.
ASU hosts No. 21 Washington at Sun Devil Stadium on Saturday at 1 p.m. on 98.7 FM Arizona’s Sports Station.
